Good morning all, And welcome to my blog. I will be exploring the local cafes in and around cleethorpes and Grimsby with regard to their food, service, surroundings, cleanliness and value for money. My name is Helen and I have recently moved to north east Lincolnshire. I care for my mum (Dorothy)and my 2 adult children Jack and Amy. After living in lovely north somercotes for most of my life in the beautiful countryside on the east coast, I decided that it was time to start a new life in the town. Moving to the Grimsby/cleethorpes, is very different indeed. Firstly, where I used to live, was 1/4 of a mile from Donna nook, in the middle of beautiful fields. Our garden was filled with wildlife from birds of all kinds to deer, squirrels and pheasant. (Which I miss enormously) But as I’m getting older I wanted to have more amenities close at hand instead of having to travel to the town which was 10-18 miles away depending on where I wanted to go.
